Denying Our Truth

This is a mini lesson that I learned from my two-year-old. Today, my two-year-old had a bowel movement. When I walked into the room I could smell it as soon as I had entered. I asked him if he had pooped. He said no. I asked him if it was okay if I checked. He nodded his head and I took a peek. I did find poop so I asked again, "Did you poop?" This time he told me yes.

In this moment I realized that so many of us deny Our Truth. We have to acknowledge what we are, who we are, where we are, and how we are. We have to stop denying our truth and embrace it. We are all unique beings. We have things that are good and we have our flaws and in the sum of that equation is Who We Are. So as you're going about your day think about who you are and are you standing in your truth?
